More about the films:
· ‘Camouflage’, by Aman Dahiya starring Purab Kohli and Sumeet Vyas is an ode to the heroes who face death every day for us to live in peace. The film showcases a conversation revolving around the moralities of war, presented through the contrasting perspectives of two elite commandos who spend more time on the battlefield than they do at home. The short film aims to show that war is a never-ending process and how true patriots can have an open debate about war, without it turning into a matter of national pride.
· ‘Sparsh’ by Ankoosh Bhatt is the story of four strangers and a series of events which brings them together. It showcases lives of four individuals who are like the same cogs of a wheel of vicious cycle of hatredness and prejudice. The short features how each one of us lives and dies with our own prejudices.
· ‘Death of a father’, an animated short by Chaitanya Tamhane is a story that gives an insight into the life of a young boy who tries to take charge of the situation post his father’s demise. Amidst the circumstances, he finds himself incapable of taking charge and is swept along with the tide of expectations which makes him blindly follow whatever he is asked to do. He still tries to look for opportunities to cope with the loss of his father and eventually death too ends up being just another mundane routine.
· ‘Maya’, by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury starring Padmapriya is a unique love story where the boy is in love while the girl is ignorant of his feelings. As the story progresses, the boy approaches her and has conversations on the phone without revealing his identity. Unaware of the fact that he is the same
